Prima™ Classic Pilates Reformer

Honestly I spent hours researching an affordable Pilates machine that was decent & spring based and I am SO glad I got this one. The few reviews made me nervous at first but I have no regrets. I'm no Pilates snob but this machine definitely exceeded expectations for the price (I have taken a few classes). The metal is great quality & sturdy, acceptable amount of cushioning, and the carriage glides really smoothly. There is minimal noise with the springs- there will always be some type of noise when using springs in this sense. I haven't used the footbar much and perhaps it's not as sturdy in all the positioning but it hasn't been a hindrance. It comes with raised platform that allows you to incorporate more exercises. I don't store mine away but it doesn't seem like too much work given the size of the machine. It was easy to put together- took maybe 20-30 minutes.

Surprisingly customer service has been very responsive and helpful. I had a scrapping issue with my reformer during use, they responded to me with troubleshooting suggestions. Ultimately I wasn't able to troubleshoot the issue so they are issuing me a new reformer so I'm definitely a happy customer and recommend this product/brand so far!

Beside making slight squeaking sound, I am very happy with this home purchase. I used to Pilate classes over 15 years ago and haven't worked out Pilates session since then. With plenty to Pilate reformer classes it all brought back memories as to how to do the moves and the machine is very sturdy and gives plenty of resistance and support. Overall, it's very very happy with this product.

When I first received my product it was quite heavy to be expected. It was very easy to piece together since it was 95% already together. Simple instructions, and unfortunately I was missing one piece; however, through communication I was able to receive that last piece. Everyone was kind and very helpful. Would absolutely recommend! Love my reformer :)

Absolutely love this. I moved to a town that does not have a Pilates studio after going to Club Pilates for a year. The spring weights are different than what I am used to but overall this is an excellent reformer for the price. I am in a small third floor apartment so I fold mine every day and move it out of the way. Even with it on the floor it works perfectly. Couldn't be happier with it. The only real negative is the shoulder blocks aren't as stable as I would like, but it still well worth the money.

Amazing value for the money. This machine is saving me $250 per month at Club Pilates. I've been practicing for many years, and have lots of experience with studio reformers. Firstly, this is a really great buy for the money, and you can do every single exercise you can do on a studio reformer. Finding coil spring resistance at this price is a steal.

Only two cons that I've noted after six weeks of use:
1. The carriage is pretty short. I'm 5'4 and there's only about 3-4 inches of space between my butt and the edge of the carriage when I'm laying down. My 6'1 husband uses the reformer also, but it's awkward for him to get into position on his back.
2. Shoulder bolsters need more padding, there is almost no padding on the side where your neck goes. I will be adding more padding in this spot on my own machine.
