AeroLite™ Aluminum Pilates Reformer

I use a Balanced Body reformer in the Pilatest studio I attend. The Paeta AeroLite Aluminium Pilates Reformer, which I'm using for my home gym is comparable but at the fraction of the cost. There are however some important points to consider.

Firstly, some positive points: The online purchasing process was smooth, customer service responses via email were timely and instructive. Paeta's telephone number, which they publish on their website does not to work or get answered. That initially rang alarm bells for me, but their email and online chat function responded quickly, which gave me some comfort. They ship using FedEx and provided tracking numbers, which is another source of comfort.

Some potentially problematic points to consider: Paeta has not flagged very well, which other reviewers have mentioned, the fact that the reformer needs to be assembled. The reformer comes in two large HEAVY boxes. The assembly is not straight forward. Paeta does not provide a list of recommended contractors in your area who can assist. Be warned: assembling this reformer is NOT like assembling Ikea furniture. While simple tools (Allen keys etc.) are provided, you really need a power drill and pliers to help **** in bolts and nuts. The instruction book provided is well written and provides clear direction. However that is not a substitute for experience. If you have access to a trusted handyman, I would engage in their services. It took my handyman about 3 hours to assemble the reformer, where I assisted in directing the assembly so he did not have to think through the logic of why certain parts go together. As I understood how a reformer is supposed to work, I could explain what each part was meant to do.

Notwithstanding the assembly, Paeta's AeroLite reformer is a good product at a great price. It really is comparable to a high end reformer you get at Pilates studios.

Love this reformer! It's incredibly smooth and quiet. The folding feature is a lifesaver for my apartment, and it feels just as sturdy as the studio models I've used.

I absolutely love my PAETA Pilates Aerolite! It’s beautifully designed, feels incredibly well made, and has been such a great addition to my Pilates routine. The quality is impressive, and it has a sleek, modern look without sacrificing comfort or functionality.

I’ve really enjoyed using it and can tell that a lot of thought went into the design. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to bring a more elevated Pilates experience into their home. The only thing is that it is heavy and the handle when it is folded up takes uo space as well. Its more of a kickstand. Due to its weight, I haven’t mastered unfoldinf ans refolding it with ease. I hooe someone will release a video of how to do it the right way.

I still highly recommend the PAETA Pilates Aerolite to everyone though!

I’m enjoying my AeroLite Paeta reformer machine. It’s much sturdier than I thought it would be. There are a few things that I’m not quite happy with… 1. It’s not fully smooth, due to the folding feature, the reformer doesn’t align just right causing a bump each time the rollers go over it (a little annoying) 2. The wheels squeak a bit (considering putting some lubricant to try and help with this (just haven’t gotten around to researching best lubricant). 3. When using the jump board the yellow spring comes out of the black strap and drags on the floor.
I wish it had a platform extender.
Over all the reformer is a decent piece of equipment. Once they work out these things it will be well worth the money. As is, I personally don’t think the pricing is on par with performance at this point.

WOW! Honestly, I don’t think I could’ve picked a better reformer. It runs super smooth and quiet, and feels really solid. The only thing that’s different from the reformer I use at my studio is the leg height — which isn’t a problem at all. Nothing was missing; I got every single part and accessory listed in the product description. I’m absolutely thrilled with this purchase across the board. For reference, I’m almost 5’8”, and this fits my height perfectly.
